If, after clicking on a session invitation link or entering an access code on the website, you receive the message: This Access Code is not valid. The session connected to this access code may have expired or been cancelled. Please check if you have a more recent invite link to use, or reach out to your host or their organization directly to request a new one.

Error message: This Access Code is not valid. The session connected to this access code may have expired or been cancelled. Please check if you have a more recent invite link to use, or reach out to your host or their organization directly to request a new one.

You will also get an error if you enter the SecureVideo Access Code directly into the Zoom app (it should be entered on the SecureVideo.com website):

Zoom error message: Invalid Meeting ID

Answer

Your Access Code has expired. Please contact the Host to request a new Access Code.

This message means that this access code was once valid, but has now expired. Access Codes expire once the session date has passed, or if the session has been removed or cancelled by the host ahead of the automatic expiration.

What also may happen is that a host may have accidentally scheduled more than one session, and gone back to cancel the extra ones.

Please check to see if you have a more recent invite, or check among your invites in case there is a valid one. If you do not have a recent invite, please contact your provider directly to request one.

Your Access Code is not valid. Please contact the Host to request the correct code.

This message means that there is a typo in the numbers entered, OR it's been 5 or more days since this code has expired. If you received this invite recently, please doublecheck the numbers you have entered and try again. (If you have not received an Access Code from your provider, please contact them directly to request one.)

Zoom error: Invalid Meeting ID

SecureVideo and Zoom are different companies, so a SecureVideo Access Code will not mean anything to the Zoom app. Instead, go to the SecureVideo website to enter the SecureVideo Access Code.
